The piece Il Linguaggio Degli Dei by the Russian futurist Velemir Chlebnikov is released on the C-side of the Italian compilation futura. Poesia Sonora, one of the most important compilations of phonetic art. This record side of the compilation contains twelve pieces by the artists Vladimir Majakovskij, Velemir Chlebnikov, Vasily Kamensky, Aleksej Kručenych and Ilya Zdanevič, who are among the Russian Futurists and were involved to varying degrees in the development of the art language Zaum (Transmantal Language).

Il Linguaggio Degli Dei is an excerpt from Chlebnikov's theatrical text Zangezi and is specifically a work that foregrounds the sound of words. Meanings, contexts and phonetic origins play no role for Chlebnikov in this phonetic expression and are subordinate to pure sound. He was inspired by a fictitious speech of the African god Unkulunkulu, which consists exclusively of consonants.
