The Logos Duo, consisting of Godfried-Willem Raes and Moniek Darge, recorded the piece The Wall on the 17th of December 1980 at the BRT studio in Gand and released it in 1983 on the album Composition - Improvisation.
They were advocates of the free use of musical and intellectual products, anticipating the licensing practice of Creative Commons. On both sides of the record label, they printed: "I declare this record free from any copyright, public performance, broadcasting and copying allowed when source mentioned".
