The vinyl single Extended Play by the Finnish artist J. O. Mallander is a re-release of the 1968 record of the same name released by the label "Eteenpäin!". It contains two tracks, one on the A side and one on the B side, both with the same content and structure. The piece on the A side was recorded in 1962, and the track on the B side in 1968. Mallander thus duplicated the sound poetic project six years after the first recording and took up the work again. The differences in the recording quality and the different background noises, as well as the altered acoustic spatial situations, are particularly striking.

The constant repetition of the word "Kekkonen" in both pieces is based on the processing of the presidential elections in Finland in 1962 and 1968. In both years Urho Kekkonen was elected president, the pieces record the situation of the counting of votes in the polling stations and reproduce the acoustic situation.
