Title: Symphony n°3: Andante moderato (Track 10)
Publisher: Al Dante
Date: 1999/2000
Medium: CD + booklet
Performer: Isidore Isou, orchestrated by Frédéric Aquaviva

Isidore Isou, the founder of Lettrism, remained true to his artistic principle throughout his life. In 1999, 54 years after the founding of Lettrism, Isou created sound works that could just as well have come from the early days of the artistic movement. The piece Andante moderato, heard here, differs from Jungle from 1945 by a somewhat more aggressive emphasis, more extreme sounds and a greater physical effort that Isou seems to put into the performance. The basic tonality, rhythm and phonation of the two pieces are similar in many ways. The French self-taught artist and musician Frédéric Aquaviva is listed as a collaborator on the record cover of Andante moderato.
