The album Strumming Music is one of the first albums released by the pioneer of minimal music,
Charlemagne Palestines. The album consists of an approximately 50-minute piece in which Palestine
creates a monumental work of minimal music from a few notes played in constant, rapid alternation.
For this, he plays simultaneously on two grand pianos, sitting in the middle between the two
keyboards. The piece extends over both sides of the record, here the first side can be heard.
