The Western Music/Blues/Hillbilly album Graduation and other country and blues music by US avant-
garde artist Henry Flynt contains tracks recorded between 1975 and 1979. The release planned for
1980 did not take place, however, and it was not until 2001 that the album was rediscovered and
released by Ambersand. Flynt plays the violin and is accompanied by an unnamed musicians on drums,
guitar, saxophone, bass and organ. The album ties in historical and fundamental elements of
western and blues music and takes them into the avant-garde through comparatively experimental
arrangements.

The piece Double Spindizzy is a blues improvisation of two violins, guitar and bass.
